Welcome to Intentional.yoga.

We are a virtual live wellness community offering group and private yoga and meditation classes and workshops. Our intention is to help you build and extend your yoga and meditation practices in a safe and healthy way, wherever you are or wherever you go.

We firmly believe yoga and meditation should be accessible to everyone. We have created our virtual studio to provide this access for people around the globe. In addition, we strive to keep our prices fair and affordable for our entire community. We hope you will join us and take part in our community.

Peace,

Lisa Sparagna & Angelo Calvello, Founders

About Us

Lisa Sparagna, MMTCP, CYT 500, MFA, Founder

Lisa is passionate about creating a safe space where people can connect to the quiet of their inner wisdom. She has been practicing and teaching meditation, mindfulness, and yoga for over fifteen years. These practices guide her life: mindfulness keeps her present, meditation returns her to quiet and stillness, and yoga provides a flexible way to be in her life and our world. Sharing these tools with others gives her great joy.

Lisa’s professional yoga and meditation journey began in 2005 when she received her 200-hour certification at the White Lotus Foundation in California. Since then, she has earned an advanced 500-hour yoga certification and completed The Calm Monkey Facilitator Certification Program, The Sedona Women’s Institute Facilitator Training Program, and most recently, Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach’s Two Year Certified Mindfulness Meditation Program, MMTCP. She also holds an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Angelo Calvello, PhD, Founder

Angelo has been practicing yoga since 1980, studying with teachers in New York and Chicago. His practice deepened considerably in the past decade, with more of a focus on breathwork and meditation. He is a serial entrepreneur, a frequent speaker at industry events, and a regular columnist for several trade publications. He earned a PhD in phenomenological psychology in 1983 from DePaul University.
